About
Gina is a dance artist, body geek, and dedicated educator.
Whether creating new dances, supporting clients as they learn to listen to their bodies , facilitating difficult conversations, or performing onstage, Gina’s work is always responsive, present, and full of grounded honesty. She comes to Embodiment Coaching from fifteen years of teaching Pilates, dance, and a wide array of other somatic modalities to elders, working mothers, reluctant dudes, and young adults. Because a significant part of the knowledge that informs Embodiment Coaching was learned, appropriated, and outright stolen from communities of color, Gina is transparent about the lineages of the modalities she shares. Ten percent of all income is redistributed to body-based social justice organizations run primarily by people of color.
